Instructions for Downloading
ADOBE ACROREADER^TM

When you click on the link at the bottom of this page, a new Browser window will be opened displaying the Adobe AcroReader^TMDowload site.  The following instructions are provided to help you download the Reader from the Adobe^TM website.  You may wish to print these instructions before you begin the download process.

Step 1 of 2

In this first step you must choose the Language, Platform, and Connection speed from the drop-down lists.

Language - English

Platform - Choose the type of Windows that you are using such as Windows XP, Windows 98, etc.

Connection Speed -Choose 'Dial-up' if you use a modem and phone line to 'dial' the internet, or choose "Broadband" if you use DSL or Cable.

Choose the options that you want to download. 

Make sure that "Download the full version of Adobe Reader" is selected.

Choose any of the other products that you want to download.

Scroll down the page and read the instructions.

Read the "Adobe Reader License Agreement" by clicking on the Link directly above the "Continue" button.

Click the  button

Download

You will be taken to the Adobe Reader Download Page.

Click the   button.

You will be presented with the standard Windows "File Download" screen.

Choose "Save" to continue the download process.

In the next screen you will be prompted for a location to "Save" the downloaded file.  It is easiest to click on the "Desktop" icon and download the file to your desktop.  It will be easy to locate the installation file.  You can, of course, download to a folder of your choice.

The file is large (about 16MB).  It may take a while to download it depending on your line connection speed to the internet. 

After it has downloaded, locate the "AdbeRdrxx_dlm_enu_full.exe" (where xx is the version number.  This file name may be slightly different but you should be able to recognize it as the Adobe file that you just downloaded) on your desktop and double-click.

Follow the on-screen instructions to install the product.
